They came to conclusion that no more selling fuel to vehicles from Thailand within 50km radius range.
Is it fair and at the same time you allowed Singapore to buy our fuel at our subsidies price? Is it fair to our local and to reseller? Is it fair to riders as motorcycle tank are very small to accommodate fuel within the range?
Can't they sell at fuel to them? Yup, they should allowed to sell, BUT, govt. should create some mechanism in selling fuel to foreigner (INCLUDING SINGAPOREAN). They should get the same price as they were at their own country. For example; if in Singapore, every liter is RM4.00, the same price goes here for them. Same things goes to Thailand, Brunei, etc. The subsidies should only goes to Malaysian.
How to control that? MyKAD should be used and swap together when making payment via card or cash. It is simple BUT need cooperation from all especially govt. entities to ensure this work.
If NOT, then we are not helping our people... we are not FAIR
